What Does This All Mean
Frequently Asked QuestionsIt's when 2 or more people get together to collaborate on a project sharing the costs, work, risks, responsibilities and profits. For example, people might JV on a book, an event, a product, or even an investment to name just a few.
It's when 3 or more people get together to share advice, experiences, connections, ideas, and lessons learned with everyone having roughly an equal amount time to contribute as well as benefit from the rest of the individuals involved. For example, people might share where there struggling so the others might share how they overcame or avoided those struggles. People might also share what's really working in their organization so others might be able to duplicate those successes.
It's a presentation by a trainer on a topic that they have excelled at for a some what sophisticated audience. For example, an average individual teaching common knowledge would not be a master class where as an awarding winning, media celebrated individual explaining the secrets of creating a best selling, money making book would be.
It's just like speed dating you see on TV - a group of people rotate meeting each other in short amounts of time to determine who they want to have longer conversations with later. The purpose is to find someone you and one other person to potentially be working together in some capacity. These short meetings usually last about 2-4 minutes where each person is introducing themselves in a some what structured fashion before moving on to the next person. For example, there is typically two rows of chairs facing each other. One side or row will have people getting up and moving to the next chair every couple minutes while the other row of people stay seated waited for each person to move in front of them. I've done this with anywhere from 16-160 people.
My Joint Venture event is compromised of both master classes and masterminding sessions that are designed to facilitate connecting people in a meaningful, on purpose way. I use the word "Sales" in the title because some of the most important goals of the event is to create new referral friendships, find new groups of people to share your products and services with, discover opportunities to work together with other event attendees and make money through each other when ever possible in a sophisticated way.
We typically have about 25-50 speakers, authors and experts coming to participate. We want there to be enough time for everyone to meet and share. The bigger the number the harder it is.
I've learned that in order to get my participants and friends the best results I need to not just give them ideas and introductions, but rather also help them take some initial action steps with each other before leaving and moving on to the next thing. These events aren't for dreamers rather they are for doers.
No, but you should come at least 1 or preferably at least 2 of the 3 days to give as much as you get. The people that show up to give, serve and share typically do the best in terms of developing new referral friendships, finding new clients and getting results in there organizations.
Hardcore pitching? No. Occasionally will you learn about what people offer and what it costs to work with them? Yes. There will be opportunities to learn about ways to grow your organization and invest in it accordingly BUT there is more education and masterminding than anything else.
Yes, my events focus on speakers, authors, and experts in their world.

You can also just come with a General Admission ticket for $97 that does not include any meals or materials.

Yes, we do spotlights for people that have unique experiences or training that may benefit the majority of the people in the room. We also choose team leaders for the round table mastermind session to help facilitate the discussions. You can also be rewarded for bringing good people.
I do this in order to bring my clients and connections together to add value. I like to show off what we are doing with our people and create value for everyone involved. This helps me find new opportunities to get my expertise out, develop new referral friendships and ultimately find new clients. This is what's in it for you too!
